Job Description

Overview
Reporting to the Chief Credit Officer, the Loan Admin Manager oversees the overall loan administration process and manages & coaches a team of 30. This role ensures timely completion of work, accurate reporting, and proper response to audits. The manager will review loan transactions, provide guidance to supervisors and admins, providing status updates to leadership.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
-Set measurable departmental goals and
-Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and expense control.
-Monitor daily production to ensure timely task completion.
-Provide status and other reports to senior management as necessary.
Stay informed of industry developments and trends.
-Manage hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating, and counseling of staff.
Conduct performance evaluations for supervisors and provide light coaching.
-Participate in job-specific and other various Bank training programs.
-Maintain current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy.
-Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, and established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls.
-Maintain current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and ensure adherence by department personnel.
-Oversee the processing of approximately 600 loans annually.
-Work with attorneys to prepare loan documentation and manage the review process.
-Manage relationships with auditors and oversee loan reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

BBA in Finance or Accounting (work experience may be substituted for educational requirements
Five years of experience in loan administration, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of commercial and real estate loan documentation, processing, and loan accounting.
Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other applications.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks accurately with frequent interruptions.
Strong background in real estate loans (commercial and residential portfolios, primary home mortgages).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Ten years of prior loan operations experience.
-Knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake software programs (core system) and Encino for workflow.
-Bilingual in Spanish.
