Job Description

This opening is for an expert level Applications Engineer in the Dallas TX area. The duties include providing technical leadership to the local AE team and customer engineers by developing ATE-based test solutions and new test methodologies. Success in this role entails applying well developed skills in complex ATE-based hardware design and debug as well as test program development and debug while working with customer engineers. The candidate must be able to multitask based on changing customer needs, assisting with task closure strategies, helping customer engineers on best practices, and be a self-starter with management direction.

Travel:

Approximately 15% travel to various customer sites

Required Skills & Experience

- Proficient in analog and digital ATE testing techniques

- Proficient in the Linux (UNIX) operating system.

- Proficient in C++, Java, object oriented language programming

- Perl or Python scripting experience

- Comfortable presenting in front of customer senior management

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Analog circuit design experience
