An oncology clinic in Round Rock is looking to bring on a Clinic Nurse to help support the site. This nurse will support and work very closely with the Oncology Doctor. They will be responsible for face to face care, as well as over the phone/chat messaging with patients. They will act somewhat at a Nurse Navigator, understanding patient symptoms and knowing where to direct them next - i.e. ordering labs, market testing, setting up for specific appointments, etc.
They will also help assist with rooming new patients, perform nurse visits for any new oncology patients, and inform them on the patient care to expect.
