A life science client of ours is seeking a dynamic and skilled Business Analyst to join our Emerging Technologies team, focusing on the development and integration of generative AI solutions across the company. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, ensuring that our generative AI offerings are effectively utilized and tailored to enhance productivity and create competitive advantages.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and solidify requirements for generative AI solutions, ensuring a deep understanding of business needs.
• Alignment of Business Requirements: Ensure business requirements are aligned with our existing generative AI offerings, identifying areas where our current solutions meet these needs.
• Research and Novel Approaches: Investigate the capabilities of our current generative AI solutions, identifying gaps and exploring novel approaches to address complex business challenges.
• Project Development Process Management: Gain comprehensive knowledge of our generative AI project development process and guide the business in aligning with this framework.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead and assist in UAT of generative AI solutions, including both hands-on testing and coordinating business involvement in the testing process.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Maintain a close working relationship with our developers to ensure that the solutions developed are in line with business needs and expectations.
• Community Management and Engagement: Manage and run our Generative AI community, organizing user group meetings, curating content, and arranging speakers to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Advocacy and Education: Act as a champion for generative AI within the company, educating business users about its benefits and potential impact on their work.
• Backlog Management: Take responsibility for managing and prioritizing the backlog of generative AI projects and ideas, ensuring a strategic approach to project selection and development.

Required Skills & Experience
• Prior experience in emerging technology fields, particularly in AI-driven solutions.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in technology-focused projects.
• Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their business applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience in conducting UAT and working closely with technical development teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Significant experience working with key business stakeholders (across all levels).
• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
