An employer is looking for a Sr Substation Engineer to supervise and provide designs, or assist in preparing and developing the engineering deliverables. This may include one & three-line diagrams for physical design, protection & controls, and more. Strong communication abilities are crucial to this role as the candidate will be tasked with initial client interactions, updates and project close reporting. Training and development of junior staff may also be required as the team grows.

- Degree in Electrical, Power Systems or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer license required
- 8+ years of Physical Substation design/engineering experience
- Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Strong business development and client management skills
- PE license in OR/WA is highly preferred (Company will assist in transfer as needed)
- Experience with SKM and ETAP preferred
