Sr. Network Security Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst to join a large banking client on a 12 month contract hybrid in Scarborough 2 days/week. The successful candidate will join the network security team to review and process level 2 firewall rule requests. Previous experience working in network security with firewall policy management using Tufin or AlgoSec, and processing/approving level 2 rule requests with thorough documentation is essential to succeed in this role.

- 7-10 years experience in cybersecurity or infosec with a background in network security
- 5+ years experience with Firewall Policy Administration, policies, and rules using Checkpoint and Juniper
- 5+ years experience with firewall policy management tools such as Tufin or AlgoSec
- Minimum of 5 years of network security knowledge including SSLV and Proxy)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong experience with analyzing network data forensics Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols
- Post secondary degree in related field of study

- Information Security certifications from a well-recognized institution (e.g. (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS).
- Previous experience working in the financial industry
