Job Description

Documentation Specialist – Treasury Payment Solutions (Commercial Banking) Insight Global, on behalf of a leading banking client
Insight Global is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Documentation Specialist to join the Commercial Banking team within Treasury Payment Solutions at one of Canada’s top financial institutions. This role is dedicated to delivering white-glove service to commercial clients by supporting the onboarding process through meticulous documentation management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze client documentation portfolios, ensuring all required legal agreements and compliance artifacts (KYC/AML) are accurately submitted and returned in a timely manner.
• Coordinate the end-to-end documentation process, including the preparation, distribution, and collection of legal agreements necessary for client onboarding.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to both external clients and internal stakeholders, including sales teams, relationship managers, and third-party vendors.
• Provide standard legal agreements or collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to facilitate the drafting of customized, negotiated agreements.
• Guide clients through the documentation process, clearly communicating the KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements needed for approval.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and internal partners regarding legal documentation, ensuring clarity and resolution through email, phone, or conference calls.
• Track and follow up on outstanding documentation, ensuring all prerequisites are met to move clients efficiently through the onboarding pipeline.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all agreements and account-related inquiries are handled with professionalism and urgency.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and has a strong understanding of legal documentation and compliance requirements in the financial services industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in documentation, banking, customer service, or other client-facing roles.
• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, finance, or a related field from a recognized college or university.
• Strong attention to detail of reviewing documentation
• Professional background in banking, credit card services, financial institutions, higher education, or insurance sectors (nice to have)
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving technology tools and workflow processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other applications within the Microsoft Office suite.
• Reliable access to high-speed internet is required to support work and virtual collaboration.
