A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join their team onsite in Akron, OH. This role will be 70% design work, using Autocad/Civil3D, designing things such as water lines, sewer lines, water mains, pump stations, collection/distribution systems, etc. Other responsibilities could include preliminary engineering reports, doing calculations, ensuring specifications are met, assisting project managers and other engineers with various project tasks in the field, at a plant or in the office.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Has EIT
- 4+ years of design experience within the water/wastewater/storm water industry
- Have designed a full water/wastewater treatment plant
- Experience working in a consulting capacity with an engineering firm
- Experience mentoring junior- level staff
- Project Management experience
