Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a candidate for a contract role as a Business Systems Analyst in Cincinnati Ohio. This individual will be brought in to assist with upgrade projects across the company's core banking landscape. They will sit with the business and IT to understand the applications and how they're being used, gather requirements, build use cases and design solutions for the upgraded product systems. Furthermore, they need to understand and document the interfaces of these applications and how these interfaces might change or be altered by the upgrading to the new platform. It is vital that this individual is familiar with the core banking functions such as deposits, loan and credit processing, debit, mortgage, withdrawals, money movement, transactions, check processing, etc. environment of a financial institution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that needs little to no direction and analyze the current environment, how processes and data flows in order to make recommendations for the new platform.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Technical/Data Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
Banking knowledge -- deposit accounts, credit, debit/ATM, consumer loans, HELOC, Mortgage Loans, commercial loans, etc.
Data analysis and ability to analyze how data moves through the systems and various banking products
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Ability to read and analyze VSAM or mainframe flat files
Technical Writing is a plus
COBOL or Assembly language is a plus
