Job Description

This Epic Prelude/Cadence Analyst is responsible for configuring and maintaining Epic Prelude and Cadence modules to support new clinic builds and operational workflows. This role involves setting up Department (DEP) settings, provider templates, resources, and patient/referral work queues (WQs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic’s appointment conversion utility, Auto Book, and a strong background in Community Connect implementations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain Epic Prelude and Cadence settings, including DEP build, provider templates, and resource setup.
• Build and validate patient and referral work queues to ensure accurate scheduling and registration workflows.
• Utilize Epic’s Auto Book tool for appointment conversion during migrations or workflow transitions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with scheduling and registration processes.
• Support Community Connect initiatives by providing technical expertise and configuration support for partner organizations.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance for all build components to ensure system integrity and compliance.
Document build processes and maintain configuration standards for scalability and consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Epic Prelude and Cadence certifications
• 3+ years of both Prelude and Cadence experience
• Experience working within Community Connect
• Hands-on experience in Epic Auto Book
• Experience with Epic Prelude and Cadence build and configuration.
• Proficiency in DEP settings, provider templates, resources, and work queue setup.
• Knowledge of scheduling and registration workflows within Epic.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
