Job Description

An employer is looking to add a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to their team located in the Berkely, MO area. This person will be working closely with F/A-18 Retrofit, United States Navy, teams in the Sustainment Engineering, and Support Systems teams. They will be designing the wiring bundles for the F/A-18 E/F/G airplane models to support production and retrofit changes. They will be using Mentor Graphics to do all of their electrical design work in. A big part of the role will be mentoring less experienced wire design engineers, and work with internal and external team so it is crucial this person has a background or passion in mentorship. This position is 100% onsite within the Berkeley location.

Required Skills & Experience

-9+ years experience within Electrical Design Engineering
-Bachelors degree within Electrical, or Computer Engineering
-Experience developing wiring harness designs
-Experience mentoring or coaching entry level engineers
-Ability to obtain secret clearance
-Excellent verbal and written communication
