Job Description
An employer is looking for a highly-skilled remote full stack developer to join one of our largest national healthcare clients for a remote opportunity. This role is a fullstack development role, where 40% of your time will be spent on the frontend working with react, and 60% of your time will be focused on the backend creating APIs from scratch. In this role you will join a team of 12, split between their Sql focused data engineering team, and their implementation team. This group is working to create a brand-new application with a delivery date of July. This application is focused on 837 EDI Medicare claim submissions. Any previous experience working within healthcare claims will help you be successful on this team. This role has a potential to convert to a permanent employee based on performance.
Tasks include:
-Development work including performing all phases of software engineering, requirements analysis, application design, and code development and testing
-Participate in a DevOps operating model where accountability for delivered solutions remains with the engineer (i.e. stability, incident resolution, defect fix, RCA)
-Design and implement product features including reusable components, frameworks and libraries in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
-Address the performance issues and design the solutions to meet low latency needs
-Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software
-Participate in technology decisions, drive product implementation, and on-time delivery
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
-3+ years of Software Development experience
-Hands on experience with java on the backend
-Hands on experience coding in JavaScript
-Hands on experience coding in react on the front end.
-Experience working within Mongo DB
-Ability to write sql queries from scratch
-Proficient with one or more of the current languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL
-Extensive use of one or more DevOps tools/platforms: Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Git
-Experience in the design and development of sophisticated, modern web applications and services
-Database development experience with SQL and NoSQL
-Should be self-initiated, intuitive, and possesses technical and business acumen
-Good understanding of Agile/Scrum Technology
