The Splunk Developer will have responsibility for building monitoring and proactive alert/response features and capabilities for store support systems. In this area, these Engineers will focus on:
* Working with IT and business partners to identify appropriate KPI's for measurement of At Retail store technology operability
* Designing and implementing dynamic dashboards for repeatable and standard driven production analysis
* Delivering application and infrastructure operational insights to other client teams and business partners
* Participating in the operational grooming of new store technology changes or additions
* Participating in production readiness evaluations as part of release management
* Leading or participating in system problem solving efforts alongside with client's development and/or support teams
* Leading or participating in the triage and resolution of critical, high visibility production system impacts
* Proactively identifying and resolving system issues impactful to business operations
* Leading or participating in the triage and resolution of critical, high visibility system impacts
* Ensuring application and system configuration compliance for client's systems
Analyzing systems and procedures to identify value add improvement opportunities
* 3 years in IT operations and/or application support
* 3 years in Splunk implementation and dashboarding
* 2 years in Java application support and java performance analysis
