Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join a prestigious international law firm client. This billing coordinator will be a vital member to the billing team, responsible for bill preparation and management of inventory. In this role, the billing coordinator will be supporting litigation attorneys based out of the firms west coast offices. This is a very collaborative role, as the billing coordinator will interface with partners of the firm, clients, finance leadership, and vendors. The billing coordinator must have at least 5 years of billing experience in a law firm and experience working with 3E.

The day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Prepare monthly narrative and detailed bills, applying discounts based on client requirements and following up with the partner for review in a timely manner.
Monitor receivables, print and distribute proformas, and provide reporting for request utilizing Tableau and Excel
Send bills to clients via mail and email; submit bills electronically with the client-assigned vendors.
Working on ad-hoc projects and managing e-billing regulations and requirements.
Edit time records, manage submission of timekeepers for rate approvals, track billing rejections/coordinate resubmissions, and file documentation for adjustments in a timely manner; provide suggestions on improvement to the timekeeping and adjustment process.

This is a full-time position that provides remote flexibility as long as the individual is local to one of the following cities - New York, Chicago, DC, Dallas, and Houston

Compensation
$110,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.
This role is eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 5 years of billing experience within a law firm
Experience with 3E and e-billing
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Team player with excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work West Coast hours regardless of office location

Am Law 100 experience
BA degree
