The Manufacturing Technician will assist in the physical assembly of electrical control cabinets that will be deployed in power generation facilities across North America. Daily responsibilities include:
Read electrical schematic and sub-panel layout drawings along with other production/manufacturing instructions to assemble electrical panels.
Work with production lead or senior technician to resolve semi-complex manufacturing issues and participates in troubleshooting activities on panel assemblies
Upholds all applicable codes, standards, and manufacturing workmanship guidelines on panel assemblies.
Participates and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Helps develop estimates of requirements arising from process changes
Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with the manufacturing team and hardware engineering to ensure completion of tasks and projects.
Ensures manufacturing Safety supporting Zero Harm Culture (ZHC).
