Job Description

A client in South Florida is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team either in Deerfield Beach, FL or St. Louis, MO. This is a hybrid role. Responsibilities include:
-Being accountable for all facets of learning development including needs assessment, design and development, and successful delivery of learning content to the Trainers that aligns with business and learning objectives
-Collaborating with stakeholders to help them understand the best tools, techniques and strategies for accomplishing their training goals.
-Ability to provide creative and purposeful ideas when it comes to content design and affiliated learning assets
-Assisting with administrative functions related to our Learning Management System such as uploading and testing new course content, assisting with the User registration process, contributing to general course maintenance.
-Act as a change agent by embracing new ways of learning and remaining current on new learning technologies (i.e., LMS, Content Providers, and eLearning tools)

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred
-Minimum of 3 years of instructional design experience, including e-learning design methodologies
-Experience using learning development tools including Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Vyond, Camtasia, and Captivate
-Proficient in working with Learning Management Systems and designing to learning industry standards (e.g., SCORM/AICC)
-Demonstrated success in applying the principles of instructional design and learning & development methodologies
-Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines in an environment with minimal oversight
-Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week depending on the business location. (Deerfield Beach office: 3 days; St. Louis office: 2 days)
