An employer is seeking a SOAR Engineer to join their team remotely. This role will be part of a newly formed security organization. This security portfolio is currently being built out to improve overall security practices for the company. As this new group is being built out, they are focusing on vendor security, application security, and vulnerability management. The SOAR Engineer will be responsible for Security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) capabilities specific to Qradar. This team has recently deployed Qradar and are currently beginning to utilize it as their security information and event management (SIEM) product to collect data from the network, applications, vulnerabilities, and user activities. This SOAR Engineer will be responsible for the development and customization of the IBM SOAR environment to support Qradar. In addition to this, they will be responsible for configuring this environment, as well as Qradar performance tuning.
6+ years of experience as a SOAR Engineer supporting IBM SOAR (formerly Resilient)
5+ years of hands on experience with Qradar including customization and configuration
Experience with Qradar performance tuning
Programming expertise with Python
