A Wireless Technology Solutions client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. This role participates in the overall design and architecture of software applications, contributing to the development of cloud-based solutions and interfaces for embedded devices. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing software modules of medium scope and complexity, ensuring alignment with product requirements and customer needs. Key responsibilities include assisting in the creation of functional specifications and high-level designs prior to development, verifying test quality and accuracy, and providing customer support as needed. The ideal candidate understands how to translate customer requirements into innovative product features and works collaboratively to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized leader with excellent problem solving skills and a team-player mindset. This is a full time position local to Westminster, CO. This position offers an annual salary of $95,000 - $105,000 annually based with benefits offered by the client. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in EE, CE or CS
- 2-4 years of software engineering experience
- Python experience (Flask or Django)
- Angular experience on the front-end (JavaScript and TypeScript)
- Cloud development experience
- Object oriented programming and design experience
- Database knowledge (RDBMS)
- Model View Controller (MVC) experience
- SQL & NoSQL databases (Postgres/AlloyDB, BigQuery, Redis)
- Debugging with Visual Studio
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Linux experience
- Experience with BI tools
