An employer is looking for a Director of Nursing / Clinical Lead in the Laguna Niguel, CA area. The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for all aspects of nursing care delivery in the facility. Assumes responsibility as Department Manager of PACU/OR Departments. The DON is also responsible for the Quality Improvement/Risk Management Program for the center and Education Coordinator for the facility, as well. Assumes some responsibility of the Administrator in her absence. As a Registered Nurse, the DON is also responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. Schedule will be Monday-Friday and shift times can very between 6am PST- 6pm PST. Salary includes a 10% bonus contingent upon meeting performance based metrics.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patient's medical and nursing care.
- Ability to set priorities.
- Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency through out the clinical areas of the facility.
- Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, etc.
- 4+ years of clinical lead experience as a Director of Nursing, charge nurse, or nursing manager
- Quality Program experience
- BSN
- BLS, ACLS
- RN license in the state of CA
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Ambulatory Surgery Center experience
- Operating Room / PACU / Pre-Op experience
