Mid-Level Electrical Engineer

A nationwide water and wastewater engineering firm is looking to hire a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join their team in the southern California area. Preferred locations are Orange County, and San Diego, and a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days/week is preferred. This person will be responsible for performing electrical power system design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, with minimal supervision by a Senior Engineer. This person will also manage performing load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design and specification generation. This person will partner largely with other engineers in the southern CA area on local projects, but will act as an enterprise-wide resource for the Electrical team. An ideal candidate will be well-versed in the water and wastewater industry, along with having electrical engineering skills related to power distribution systems. An engineering license (PE or EIT) is strongly preferred. The target salary range for this position is between $110,000-$130,000, and final salary parameters will be decided directly on skills presented in interviews. This role will require a hybrid working schedule, with 3 days/week in office being the company standard.

-5-12 years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, electrical discipline focus preferred
-4+ years of working experience in the water and wastewater industry
-Strong knowledge of industrial, high voltage power systems
-Extremely strong communication skills, ability to collaborate, and self-motivated personality

-Professional Engineering License or EIT
-Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
