Job Description
We are seeking an Informatica QA Engineer with strong backend data testing experience to support multiple ongoing data integration projects. This role focuses on validating, testing, and ensuring the quality of data pipelines that process healthcare data across internal applications. The ideal candidate works independently, understands complex data environments, and proactively identifies issues to improve system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes built using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools
• Validate data transformations, mappings, and workflows to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Write and execute SQL and PL/SQL queries to perform data validation and reconciliation across systems
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Python or similar scripting languages
• Monitor ETL workflows and identify data quality issues, failures, or inconsistencies
• Participate in testing efforts for system upgrades and integration of in-house applications

Required Skills & Experience
• 5–7+ years of experience in ETL/data testing or Informatica QA roles
• Strong experience testing Informatica PowerCenter
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Experience with Oracle databases, exposure to PostgreSQL is helpful
• Experience writing scripts for test automation (Python preferred)
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Strong understanding of data validation techniques, test case design, and defect tracking
• Ability to analyze data discrepancies and troubleshoot issues within ETL workflows
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working with healthcare data and industry standards
• Familiarity with CMS regulations and healthcare data formats such as HL7 or EDI
• Experience validating data conversions and transformation logic
