Job Description
A leading company in the pharmacy benefit management space is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their project team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing and verifying comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans, estimates, procedures, and scripts. They will execute and track testing on both new products and modifications to existing systems, while establishing and maintaining structured testing methodologies and environments. The role involves automating regression and smoke test scenarios, performing evaluations and audits of software documentation and processes, and responding to user and technical support inquiries regarding software functions. They will actively identify potential process improvements, error trends, and root causes, making recommendations for remedies. Communication of software issues through defects and enhancement requests to the project team is essential, as is providing regular status updates to the lead or supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience within software QA testing
• Expertise in QA testing techniques, including test suites and scripts, anomaly reporting, and software analysis
• Automated test development and execution with tools like Selenium, TestNG, SOAPUI, and Postman
• Proficient in functional and system testing, including: "black box" and "white box" testing techniques and data validation
• Experience testing web and backend applications written in Java, as well as web services
• Proficiency in testing across web browsers, including: configuration, cache management, and debugging techniques
• Experience with or developing test automation using object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++) across distributed infrastructure
• Experience with defect management and test management tools like HP Quality Center and Atlassian Xray
• Experience working in an agile SDLC environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with browser testing tools such as HTTP Watch, Firebug, Wireshark, and Fiddler
• Knowledge of Python
• Understanding of LAN/WAN networking and physical and virtual hardware systems related to the IT operational environment
