Job Description

Use many different hand tools for builds and attention to detail with all projects is essential.
1. Assembler must be able to follow documentation thoroughly to build Electronic and Mechanical tabletop and standalone systems/assemblies, also able to build sub-assemblies, add subassemblies to other builds and or full builds from the beginning to completion for technical review.
2. Calibrating sensitive equipment or testing various combinations of components ordered by customers to ensure they are functioning together as expected. Building and aligning optical sub-systems.
3. You will be expected to perform basic troubleshooting tasks before requesting support with a technician. This is a fast-paced work environment where tasks span multiple skill sets and priorities can change (be flexible) with little warning so that we can support customer requests.

- Additional Responsibilities
Administrative tasks include daily interface with our inventory control system (closing work orders and moving inventory in the system to match physical movements), providing written suggestions for improved documentation, and documenting troubleshooting steps as they occur.

Pay Rate: $20-$25 p/hr

Required Skills & Experience

HS Graduate or Equivalent
3+ years as a manufacturing assembler
Experience with cable harnesses assembly and installation
Able to work with sensitive fibers as well as optical alignment/calibration.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Soldering at times (small in size). Micro-meter reading.
