An employer in the Los Angeles area is looking for an IT Coordinator. This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days a week in the Beverly Hills area. You will be working within the IT Service Desk Team as the first line of defense to internal customers. Your role is to help the customer resolve their IT issues or escalate the issues to level 2. You will be responsible for managing the ticketing queue on Zendesk and allocating tickets appropriately. You will have 15 minutes to solve the issue over the phone and if it is not resolved within that time frame, you will transfer the issue to level 2 support. You will be responsible for closing a minimum of 15 tickets a day. You will be part of a growing team supporting 27,000 employees. Your day to day will include the operation of service desk function including call handling and incident management and help with computer setup-configuration tasks as directed. You will also assist staff with IT tasks/projects as requested.
** Hours will vary depending on schedule and weekends will be included.
- At least 1 year of demonstrated technical experience supporting Windows 7/10 and Mac OS (60/40 Mac and Windows devices)
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware and components such as monitors, keyboards printers and disk drives.
- At least 1 year of working experience creating accounts and performing password resets on Active Directory OR resetting passwords through OKTA
- Enterprise level environment experience supporting corporate offices
- Experience troubleshooting Office 365
- Should possess an interest in technology, computers, and mobile devices
- Excellent customer service -- is a must
- Available to work the weekend shifts
