An employer is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist sitting on the West Coast. This Reimbursement Specialist will be working under a billing manager supporting the employer's healthcare facilities. A strong candidate will have experience with manual billing, claims, and invoicing. This team is looking for a reliable candidate who is comfortable working independently and is ready to hit the ground running.
* 3-5 years of experience in reimbursements -- more preferred
* 2+ years of experience within healthcare billing, claims, and invoicing
* MUST have experience with accounting
* Experience MANUALLY inputting and handling billing/claims paperwork
* Experience with healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid/Medical, and commercial insurances)
* Experience with NetSmart Avatar or another healthcare billing software
* Experience with the Microsoft suite (Excel, Teams, Word, etc)
