Job Description
A financial services employer is looking for two Data Engineers to join their Data Protection Risk Engineering team. This organization is a centralized Center of Excellence (COE) that provides security services to advance the companies security posture and enhance the protection of critical assets. The Technology Risk and Cybersecurity Compliance (TRACC) team supports the dedication to safeguarding information and computing resources through the solid cyber and technology risk management practices. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and presenting data from security and business tools, designing and implementing solutions used to provide actionable insights to identify opportunities to reduce cybersecurity risk and improve operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' with strong data engineering experience including: transforming data, data visualization, data management, and gathering data from multiple sources and consolidating them into a single centralized location.
- 5+ years' of hands-on experience with data management and visualization tools (Postgres, RapidMiner, SSMS, Grafana, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity risk management
- Experience with SQL queries, SQL Server reporting services, and SQL Server integration services
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize time with minimal supervision
- Expertise in schema designs, developing data models with proven ability to work with complex data transformations, and building scorecards to present to leadership
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
- Can set up terraform processes in a cloud environment
- Proficient with ETL tools
