Insight Global is seeking a talented Kubernetes Engineer to join a large online university. This is a 100% remote, contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of engineering experience working with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Java programming. The individual will be expected to use technologies such as containers and Kubernetes to develop a secure and reliable application platform and deliver production-ready infrastructure.

- 5-7+ years of professional IT engineering experience.
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)
- Experience configuring, managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
- Backend programming experience using Java (preferred), Python, and/or Golang for the creation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Team player personality with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
- Proficiency in DevOps and Agile principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- AWS certifications.
